Since 1932, Newton Medical Center has been providing care to the people of Sussex and Warren counties in New Jersey, Pike County in Pennsylvania and southern Orange County in New York. We are home to the Center for Breast Health, the only one of its kind in Sussex County, addressing all of a woman’s breast health needs with state-of-the-art technology, resources, education, support and follow-up care. Newton Medical Center recently achieved the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Pathway to Excellence designation and is one of a select few health care facilities in New Jersey accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in all three echocardiography procedures: adult transthoracic, adult transesophogeal and adult stress.

 Hackettstown Medical Center has been providing care to the community since 1973, primarily serving Warren, Sussex and Morris Counties in New Jersey. From preventive services and outpatient testing, to care for minor injuries and life-threatening illness, we offer a wide range of services to keep our local population healthy. Hackettstown Medical Center maintains several designations, including Primary Stroke Center from both the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services and The Joint Commission’s advanced certification program; accreditations from the American College of Radiology for mammography, nuclear medicine and ultrasound; sleep disorder center accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine; and Quality of Care recognition for our cardiopulmonary department from the American Association for Respiratory Care. In addition, we provide education, screenings, support groups and wellness programs for people of all ages through our Center for Health Living.

Morristown Medical Center is a Magnet Hospital for Excellence in Nursing Service, the highest level of recognition achievable from the American Nurses Credentialing Center for facilities that provide acute care services. In 2017, we were the only hospital in New Jersey and one of just 12 hospitals in the country to receive three of the most sought-after industry honors – America’s 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades, an “A” safety grade by Leapfrog and five stars from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Additionally, our hospital is designated a Level I Regional Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons and a Level II by the State. Morristown Medical Center's Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute is home to the largest cardiac surgery program in NJ and Carol G. Simon Cancer Center is the only program in the state to receive the 2016 Outstanding Achievement Award from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
